Smokey Quartz is said to be one of the most grounding & clearing stones available, both purifying & protecting. It is associated with the Root chakra (energy center). I like to think of it as a nervous system reset. It's thought to be great for anxiety & calming nerves.
This particular point is from the earth in Brazil. The natural double terminated shape (pointed on both ends) is said to act like a batter, where the crystal can receive & transmit energy in both directions. They can be charged up in fresh water, on selenite or clear quartz, & with help of Full Moon light. It weighs 2.8 oz and measures about 3.5 inches long.
