Smokey Quartz is said to be one of the most grounding & clearing stones available, both purifying & protecting. It is associated with the Root chakra (energy center). I like to think of it as a nervous system reset. It's thought to be great for anxiety & calming nerves.
This particular point is from the earth in Brazil. It is in it's completely raw form, with one end being a big point, and the other being more of a cluster of smaller crystals. I do want to call it a double terminated but also has SO many baby ones on the end. The natural double terminated shape (pointed on both ends) is said to act like a batter, where the crystal can receive & transmit energy in both directions. They can be charged up in fresh water, on selenite or clear quartz, & with help of Full Moon light.
It was truly hard to capture the baby points clustering on the one end. Such a gorgeous raw piece of earth. It measures about 5.5 x 1.5 inches in length and weighs 6.3oz.
