Aragonite - A
Aragonite - A
Aragonite is a carbonate mineral, one of the three most common naturally occurring crystal forms of calcium carbonate, CaCO₃. It is formed by biological and physical processes, including precipitation from marine and freshwater environments, so it looks like something you would find in the ocean floor, because it is! It was first discovered in the Aragon River in Spain in 1978 and that is how it got the name Aragonite. It is said to be deeply connected the earth + connected to our lower chakras (energy centers) in the body.
This beautiful specimens is directly from the earth and has not been cut nor polished. It's natural shape is incredible with countless crystals all the way around it. It measures about 2 inches long and weighs 1.5 oz.
