Onion Stars Silk Scarf

Yellow Onion dye has been a popular natural dye choice for many cultures throughout history where onions grew prevalent like Europe and Asia. The yellowish orange color is due to flavonoids called quercetin. 

The details and care: The 100% silk known as flat crepe, a light weight silk with a beautiful subtle sheen, measuring 22" x 22".  It was pretreated carefully to make sure it is colorfast in cold water, you can hand wash with a pH neutral soap or use your machine separately on the most gentle cycle if necessary. It can also be steamed or ironed on the lowest setting, or a silk setting if your iron has that option.
