Tumbled Amazonite
Amazonite is a green tectosilicate mineral, a variety of the potassium feldspar called microcline. History has shown amazonite to have been used by many different cultures including Ancient Egypt, Sudan, and Mesopotamia. The seventh chapter of the Egyptian book fo the dead was engraved in Amazonite and one of Tutankhamen's treasures was an amazonite scarab ring. It is believed to have been the third stone on Moses' breastplate. Energy healers call it the hope stone and believe it can awaken compassion through the heart chakra.
These chunks of Amazonite are from Brazil have been tumbled to give them a nice polish. The perfect size for taking with you or using for crystal grids. There are two different sizes you can see from the photos, the shapes vary. See photos for quality, there are some small chips or cracks, and a wide range of natural colors from teals, to greens to blues.
